Two grade 11 students from Fort William First Nation are going to represent their community on a trip to Jiaozuo, Thunder Bay’s Chinese Sister City.
Fort William First Nation officials say Brayden Pelletier and Ivy Durston will visit cultural landmarks and events and meet with Chinese delegates to wrap up the trip.
Both of them go to St. Patrick High School.
They were chosen to represent the community on the eight-to-ten-day trip based on essays they submitted and a cultural item they made.
