Driving your vehicle in a reckless manner and hurting or killing someone could cost you time in jail.
Starting today, new penalties for dangerous driving take effect in the province.
It includes a possible two years in jail if you are convicted of careless driving causing bodily harm or death.
You could also face fines of $2,000 to $50,000 along with six demerit points.
