Wal-Mart Robbery Results In Charges

A Thunder Bay man is facing charges after the Wal-Mart store on Arthur Street was robbed.

Police got the call last night just after 9, about reports of a man trying to leave the store without paying for some items.

When approached by store security, he pulled out a knife and fled.

Police found the 29-year old in some bush area near the Valhalla Inn, and charged him with robbery, possession of dangerous weapon and breach of probation.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
