Lakehead University’s and the Friendship Centre’s legal teams are teaming up with a women’s health organization to talk about their rights.
Women’s Health Clinic Spokesperson Tonya Muchano tells us they’ll be having the law experts in to one of their Tuesday night sessions, which are run through Elevate NWO.
They’ll talk about the services they offer, along with tenants’ rights and Gladue reporting.
The coordinator of the Women’s Health Clinic adds it’s crucial for the women who use their services to know who to turn to if they find themselves in need of a lawyer.
