Habitat Hopes To Continue Landfill Diversion

If city council gives its approval, Habitat for Humanity will be able to continue its annual landfill diversion project.

CEO Randy Moore explains it would be reassuring to have the program guaranteed for three years.

The program makes an effort to salvage items that might go to the landfill and sell them in the Habitat Re-Store.

The Habitat official tells us this is the first time the organization will have an extended agreement with the city.
