If you want to save local trees from the Emerald Ash Borer, you’re not alone.
Anneli Tolvanen is one of 145 Bay Street area residents want healthy trees on Bay Street to stay standing, and to be able to pay to protect against the EAB.
Tolvanen says they’ve sent a petition to City Council which will be discussed tonight.
She adds she doesn’t want to come home one day and find the trees cut down, and isn’t happy only a certain amount of money has been set aside to save a certain number of trees.
