There’s already been a handful of bear incidents in our city last month.
Police say they dealth with the situations quickly with the bruins returning to the surrounding bush.
They are reminding the public to call 911 if an encounter with a bear becomes a safety concern but non emergency sightings are to be reported to the Ministry of Natural Resources Bear Wise program.
