A Thunder Bay North Stars player has been charged with assault.
It’s in connection to an incident at a Superior Junior Hockey League playoff game in the city when the coach of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs was allegedly punched in the face.
Thunder Bay city police confirm the charge against 20 year old Avery Siau.
He is scheduled for a court appearance on May 25th.
The league has already suspended Siau for 25 games in connection with the alleged incident.
