A bail hearing is being held for Paul Vukmanich next week.
The 31 year old is facing charges of assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and assault with a weapon.
It comes after police were called last month to a south side home to deal with an altercation between a man and a woman.
Vukmanich‘s lawyer Chris Watkins told the court he is crafting a bail plan with his clients family.
Watkins plans to call one or two people to speak in favour of bail on May 8th.
