There’s the prospect of labour peace at Thunder Bay’s Resolute Forest Products for the next four years.
It follows the signing of a tentative contract agreement between their union and the company.
The contract also affects workers at other Resolute mills in the country.
It is expected to become the pattern for other pulp and paper mill negotiations in Quebec and the Atlantic Regions.
Workers still have to vote on the new deal.
