City Asks You Keep Fire Hydrants Clear

The city is asking you to dig out fire hydrants they may have been covered by snow near your home.

Fire Public Education Officer Kevin Anderson says road crews are busier than normal and you could help them by clearing paths around hydrants.

“You know road crews are out doing their best, but you know with all the snow it’s taking a bit longer. So if we can help expedite that process with the residents doing their part it will be good for everybody,” Anderson says.

City crews are working to remove snow from those areas but you are asked to help keep it clear as well, by not piling snow on top of them.
