Thunder Bay MP Don Rusnak feels his government’s budget will let municipalities have more control over funding.
Rusnak notes that they’ve heard first hand from community leaders.
“Communities are looking for more flexibility in spending those infrastructure dollars,” Rusnak explains. “The answers for how this money is spent are in the communities.”
Rusnak suggests he’d like to see more spending on infrastructure in the budget, and further investments in projects like Confederation College’s TEC Hub.
