The charity Grace Place is holding their Coldest Night Of The Year walk.
The local walk begins at 5 o’clock today.
It will start and finish at Summit Church on North Syndicate Avenue, with the goal of raising $70,000.
269 walkers and 42 teams are expected to take part.
Meanwhile, the charity says this will be the first year for their new emergency overnight shelter, which will see them seek out those who are at risk of freezing to death. (File Photo)
