The provincial NDP is pushing for the release of a new agreement the province has signed with Carillion Canada.
Carillion is responsible for winter road maintenance in parts of the province, including some highways in the Thunder Bay district.
Transportation Critic Wayne Gates says a new deal was struck following the collapse of its parent company.
Gates says creditor protection filings show Carillion only had enough cash to continue operations until February 17th, and that it owned 750-million dollars.
