The Ontario Special Investigations Unit has been called in to look into an incident on the Pikangikum First Nation.
The OPP say they responded to a report of a possible drunk driver yesterday afternoon.
Officers managed to pull the vehicle over and arrested the driver.
However, police say the male suspect sustained an injury and was taken to the nursing station for treatment.
The SIU can be contacted anytime someone is injured while coming in contact with police.
