Thunder Bay’s Robbi Weldon is preparing for the upcoming Paralymics in Rio. She and her teammate Audrey Lemieux will be competing in the 30 and 90 metre cycling events.
A gold medal winner at the London games in 2012, Weldon says she’s looking forward to a stronger field this time around. She says there’s a lot more nations competing and the level has really picked up since she won gold four years ago.
Weldon says she moved to Ottawa earlier this year so she could get more training in since both her coach and training partner are now nearby. (File photo)
