Thunder Bay’s first Lowes store is officially open for business.
Mayor Keith Hobbs had the honour of doing the board cutting ceremony this morning at the new location at the Intercity Mall.
He says discussions continue with other stores such as Costco, and having Lowes as an anchor in the Mall is huge.
He adds keeping money in Thunder Bay is vital, instead of shoppers heading to Duluth.
