One of the big players in the proposed Ring of Fire development is taking another step making their project a reality. KWG Resources says it’s entered into an agreement with China First Railway.
They’ve agreed to complete a feasibility study on a railway to the mining company’s properties in the Ring of Fire which would join with the CN Rail line at Exton. The study is required to include an extensive list of information including traffic volumes, a track design and operating plan.
There is also a Indigenous component. Once plans are completed they’ll be shared with the Chiefs of the Marten Falls and Webequie First Nations.
