Sleeping Giant XTERRA Triathlon Set To Go

Close to 300 people will be participating in Saturday’s Sleeping Giant XTERRA Triathlon. It takes place at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.

Organizer Gord Ryan says it’s the third year for the event and it’s becoming more popular all the time.

He says last year they introduced the half-marathon which boosted applications by about 50. There’s also a duathathon for those who don’t swim.

The first event begins at 8:15 in the morning.
