Buy a burger to beat Multiple Sclerosis. That’s the rallying cry at A&W Restaurants across Thunder Bay and Canada today.
Executive director of the MS Society Yves Savoie says the funding goes to a good cause. “The proceeds of the campaign do two really important things. Investment in research, allowing us to better understand what causes MS and how to treat it.”
Savoie says this is a very important event for them. “This is our most important partnership by a long stretch. A & W are partners obviously in the fundraising, but also is the awareness building.”
A dollar from every burger sold today will go towards M.S. programs and research.
