A Thunder Bay woman who has never won more than $100 in anything, has made up for it with Lotto 6/49 draw.
Liisa Luoma says she decided to check her numbers when at Arella’s Quality Dollar and Import Store on Bay Street, when the words “Big Winner” splashed on the screen.
That’s when the shock set in, realizing she had won over $114,000.
Luoma says she’s going to splurge on loved ones, go on a trip and do some renovations.
