4th Arrest In Abduction Points To Drug Problem: Levesque

A 4th man has been charged in connection to the abduction of a 17-year old, and Thunder Bay police Chief JP Levesque says it points to a drug problem in Thunder Bay and the north.

Police say the 28-year old from Ottawa, charged with numerous offenses including kidnapping and assault, is part of a criminal enterprise.

But Levesques says the arrests of these four individuals hopefully sends a message that criminal behaviour will not be tolerated.

He adds the main reason Thunder Bay is targetted by criminals is the addiction rates are through the roof.
