TB Community Services Target Poverty

The Thunder Bay Social Services Board says more money is now available to help combat poverty rates in the city.

Local groups have until September 30th to apply for a part of the almost $600,000 available through the Community Social Reinvestment Program.

Spokesperson Bill Bradica says the main focus is feeding people, but also recreation.

Bradica says the Social Services Board is also looking into starting hot meal programs in all schools.
