A grim discovery in the Intercity area today.
City Police have now taken down the crime scene tape and left the area of the McIntyre River at the foot of Carrick Street, where the body of an adult male was found floating this morning around 10:30.
Police say it was discovered by a person who was walking along the bike path located next to the river.
The age of the person involved is not known, nor are the details of the circumstances surrounding his misadventure. Thunder Bay Police are asking anyone with information to contact them, or Crime Stoppers.(Staff photo)
