Pedestrians Hit

Thunder Bay police are asking both pedestrians and drivers to use caution and obey the rules of the road, after a six year old boy was hit by a car on Memorial Avenue.

They say he was crossing Memorial Avenue near Queen Street early Wedneday evening, when a passing KIA driven by a 22-year old female clipped him on the leg. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Yesterday morning a 45-year old woman suffered minor injuries after being hit by a truck at the corner of Cumberland and Red River Road. She was charged with a by-law infraction for pedestrians.
