Parking Meters Considered For Waterfront

The city is considering charging you to park at the waterfront, but is first willing to listen for your thoughts.

Next Thursday night starting at 6:30, for about two hours, an information session will be at Mariners Hall.

Parking authority supervisor Jonathan Paske says by putting in parking meters, the city feels this will free up more spots for everyone.

Paske says parking has increased, with many people leaving vehicles for long periods of time, as they walk downtown.
