A 15 year old Pelican Falls High School student is in hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a train.
OPP say it happened just after 8 last night just four kilometres west of Sioux Lookout.
OPP, Lac Seul Police and the Northwest Emergency Medical Services rescued the young man so he could be transported to hospital.
The circumstances of the collision is still being investigated but officials say alcohol consumption by the teen was a contributing factor.
