A think tank is out with its latest mining investment rankings.
The Fraser Institute Survey of Mining Companies rates 109 jurisdictions around the world. It shows that Saskatchewan and Quebec are the top Canadian jurisdictions, however Canada has slipped in global rankings.
Two of Canada’s other large jurisdictions—British Columbia and Ontario—improved in this year’s rankings.
Internationally, Ontario places 15th up eight spots from last year and B.C. ranks 18th.
