Buying bottled water from the store may be a waste of money.
Thunder Bay’s environment manager Michelle Warywoda believes city water from your tap is just as good if not better quality.
Warywoda bases her opinion on the annual water quality report which showed the water met provincial requirements.
She says there were over 29,000 tests taken at the Bare Point Treatment Plant last year. Warywoda says those tests included various criteria and were done under strick conditions.
