A Thunder Bay woman is being honoured by the Lieutenant Governor.
The Ontario Heritage Awards were handed out on Friday and recognize people who contribute to culture and natural heritage conservation.
Josephine Mandamin was selected for her Water Walks initiative that raises awareness about water conservation.
She has walked throughout Canada, Central America and the United States.
