The price of vino at the LCBO is going up. It was one of the increases announced in Ontario’s 2016 budget.
Thunder Bay Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro says its a two percentage point hike that will take effect in June.
Wine will also go up another two percent in 2017 and 2018, with a final one point increase in 2019.
The budget also increases the tax on a carton of 200 cigarettes by $3, effective Friday. (File photo)
