The OPP are continuing to investigate a fatality on the Big Trout Lake First Nation this past spring.
35 year old Darren Cromarty was pronounced dead at the nursing station in the community on June 3rd after sustaining serious injuries.
Initially, a 28 year old woman from Big Trout Lake was charged with aggravated assault. Now, police have upgraded the charge to Second Degree Murder. Marina Crowe is due to appear in Dryden Court on the charge on December 14th.
