The MPP for Muskoka-Parry Sound continues to seek answers on refused air ambulance services across northern Ontario.
Norm Miller brought the issue to Queen’s Park before recess, alleging Ornge is declining night landing at local helipads because it’s too dark.
Miller says the uncertainty in service is unacceptable, and wants to know what needs to be done so that air ambulance can be counted on when needed in the north.
Ornge has said there are restrictions to landing at certain sites at night, because of safety concerns.
