Police Seek Suspect In Overnight Robberies

The same man is a suspect in two separate overnight robberies at north side Mac’s stores.

Police say just before midnight, a man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, after demanding money from the clerk with a knife at the Mac’s on Balsam Street.

Nearly two hours later, a man matching the suspect’s description did the same thing at the Mac’s on North Cumberland Street.

He is described as being Native, about 50-years-old, 6 foot, heavy set, and wearing a blue zip-up hoodie and sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
