The entire 2005-2006 Lakehead University Men’s Hockey team is getting its due.
The University Athletics Department says the team, including coach Pete Belliveau and captain Joel Scherban are being inducted on October the 3rd.
That Thunderwolves team is best known for winning the OUA Queen’s Cup and they were the CIS silver medalists.
Other 2015 Wall of Fame Inductees are: Basketballer’s Lou Pero, Don Holmstrom and Lynn Black , wrestler’s Francis Clayton and Mike Thomas along with Nordic skier Rena Viehbeck. (Photos supplied)
