Flooding Concerns In Kashechewan First Nation

With the spring thaw now underway comes renewed concerns of flooding on the Kashechewan First Nation in Northern Ontario.

Chief Derek Stephen was on Parliament Hill this week asking for Ottawa to find a solution to the ongoing problem.

Stephen released the results of an engineering report that deems the protective dike that separates the reserve from the Albany River as inadequate.
