The town of Fort Frances continues to push for an affordable wood supply for their defunct Resolute mill.
CAO Mark McCaig says they need the Minister of Natural Resources to step in and ensure wood for any newcomers interested in the mill, noting he’s confident they have Bill Mauro’s attention.
McCaig says they’ve been working steady to find a new buyer, since first getting word about the mill closure.
