Organizers with the city’s annual Polar Bear Plunge are calling this year’s their best yet.
Today, more than 300 residents jumped into Lake Superior’s minus one waters in support of Special Olympics Ontario.
Julie Tilbury with the Thunder Bay Police, one of the event’s organizers, says this year saw a record number of participants, noting she’s confident they will surpass their $60,000 fundraising goal.
