Matawa Chiefs are against the recent purchase of Cliffs Natural Resources Chromite deposits in the Ring of Fire.
Chief Peter Moonias says the mineral is on their lands so they should have a say in its sale to Noront Resources.
They feel there was a lack of engagement about the sale and the environmental assessment.
