Cliffs Natural Resources is out of the Ring of Fire for good. Cliffs announcing this morning it’s entered into an agreement to sell its cromite assets in Northern Ontario to Noront Resources for 20 million dollars. Cliffs announced its intention to get out of the giant mining project in November of 2013. It makes Noront the new powerhouse in the Ring of Fire with the sale adding to its already promising nickel, copper and paladium claims in the region.
