It’s being called a hopeful hiring climate in Thunder Bay.
The employment firm Manpower is saying that for the months of April to June, survey data shows 23 per cent of employers plan to hire new staff, while just three per cent anticipate cutbacks.
It also shows another 67 per cent of employers plan to maintain their current staffing levels while seven per cent are unsure of their hiring plans.
