The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is PARTYing with students.
The hospital offered the Preventing Alcohol-Related Trauma in Youth program to La Vérendrye’s eleventh grade last week, where they learned of the risks associated with partaking in high risk activities.
Coordinator Shonath Kajorinne says the injury awareness and prevention program has been well-received so far, while many students say the harsh depictions helped get the message across.
