Lakehead University is kicking off its 50th anniversary celebrations.
They held a flag raising ceremony at City Hall Monday morning.
President Brian Stevenson says they’ve tried to make an impact on the community and region.
On Friday, the University will be opening up it’s campus to the public for it’s winter carnival celebrations that include skating on Lake Tamblyn and a free BBQ. (Photo by Sheri Leviski-Kotyk)
