Area roads are expected to get slippery, Saturday, as Environment Canada is calling for a winter storm in Thunder Bay.
They say a low pressure system that developed over the Rockies is making its way through Northwestern Ontario.
Meterologist Geoff Coulson says we can expect snow turning into freezing rain pellets.
“Well we should finally see the worst of it moving out by Saturday afternoon, just some flurry activity remaining during those afternoon hours,” he says.
“But then on Sunday, a bit more sun in the forecast, the system well gone, but there still could be some flurries lingering around – not expecting a lot in accumulation.”
Coulson says Sunday and Monday will be much colder than what we are used to, this time of year.
