There’s a new way to measure how the city’s economy is doing. Thunder Bay Ventures is introducing the Economic Activity Index.
Spokesperson Royden Potvin says the local development group has taken information from various government sources to compile this index. He says it’ll be able to indicate to the community how our economy is doing in comparison with the province and ourselves, so we can know whether our economy is growing or shrinking and what is spurring any growth.
