The City’s new by-law officer and Councillor Brian McKinnon are meeting on Thursday to craft a new taxi policy for the City.
McKinnon says James Coady has brought himself up to speed on the process.
McKinnon says they had hoped to have a new taxi by-law ready for Council by the end of summer but By-Law Enforcement Manager Ron Bourret’s retirement delayed them.
With the upcoming election looming, McKinnon says he’s not sure when the new policy will be ready but hopes before the new year. Audio below. (File photo)
