A Minnesota man who’s state manhunt caused a false alarm in Thunder Bay, is now in police custody in Minneapolis. Lyle Hoffman was wanted by state authorities for the murder of a former business associate and lover about a month ago.
He was taken into custody at a fast food outlet in Shakopee late this morning. Police say he surrendered peacefully.
Two weeks ago there was a suspected Hoffman sighting in Thunder Bay, but it turned out to be false, but not before police locked down one city neighbourhood and brought in the sharpshooters.
