A grim discovery by the provincial police.
They say that on Tuesday afternoon they were called to the Kam River in the vicinity of Highway 102 where they found the body of a man.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. Police have not yet connected this discovery to the June search of the Kaminstiquia River for a 57-year old Thunder Bay man after his empty boat was found 23 kilometres downstream from his camp site.
They say once the body is positively identified and relatives notified, there will be more information released.
