Coronavirus cases are climbing at Thunder Bay’s prisons.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports nine new cases, two of which are at the District Jail while one is at the Correctional Centre.
They are also confirming one more person has been admitted to the hospital for treatment of COVID-19 symptoms.
Another four had no known exposure, and they are still confirming how the remaining two new cases caught the virus.
The current active case count is 112.
