EcoSuperior is holding a workshop to make cycling safer for women and nonbinary people.
Organizer Kelsey Agnew explains the workshop taking place Saturday is part of their Women’s Fall Cycling Series, and focuses on a range of skills you’ll need.
“Everything from planning your ride, what to wear, how to be prepared for it, to learning more about your gearing system, your braking system, and then how to navigate things like potholes, train tracks, and traffic,” she says.
The workshop costs $12, and begins at 10 AM at the North McIntyre Rec Centre.
Online registration is required.
This is the third of four workshops in the series, which will end with a 25-kilometre Rural Group Discovery Ride workshop.
